Regular Ministry Program
The Healing Service is held at 6:00pm every Wednesday at St Andrew’s Cathedral in Sydney CBD. The cathedral is located directly opposite Town Hall Light Railway or above Town Hall Subway Station. Parking is also available via Bathurst Street Gate for disabled parking or underground parking via Kent Street.
We have a busy program. Please see below our upcoming and regular events held at Golden Grove (Newtown) and St Andrew's Cathedral. You are most welcome to come along to any event listed on this site.

Weekly Anointing of Oil after the Healing Service
Anointing of oil is offered every Wednesday, immediately after the Healing Service. Deaconess Lay Kum Ho leads the anointing of oil along with individual prayers.
The bible has many references of early Christians practicing the anointing of oil, with one significant passage from James:14-15: “Is anyone among you ill? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.”
Weekly Friday Prayers at Golden Grove
The Healing Ministry Prayer Group meets every Friday at 9:30am - 11:30am at Golden Grove located at 5 Forbes Street, Newtown. Led by Rev. Philip Bradford, it is a time of prayer for those who have sent prayer requests.

Fortnightly Bible Study on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Mondays of each month
The Healing Ministry Bible Study Series is normally held on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Mondays of each month at 6:00pm inside St Andrew's Cathedral. Led by Canon Christopher Allan and occasionally by guest speakers.
Our Monthly Activities:
Overcomers Outreach every 1st Wednesday of each month
Overcomers Outreach is held every 1st Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm, or immediately after the Healing Service. The meeting is held at the Lower Chapter House (southern end) inside St Andrew’s Cathedral and has a separate ingress / egress from the cathedral’s school end.
Overcomers is a 12-step program over a 12-month period, led by Mrs. Penny Wilkinson and Rev. Canon Christopher Allan. For queries, email chrisa@sydney.anglican.asn.au
Communion Service every 2nd Wednesday of each month
Holy Communion is offered every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 5:30pm and finishes just before the Healing Service starts 6:00pm. Led by Rev. Canon Christopher Allan, the lOrd’s Supper is held at the Conservatory (apse in the northern end) of St Andrew’s Cathedral.
Enter the cathedral via George Street glass doors (front of Townhall Light Rail Station) or through the side doors from Townhall Square.
Men’s Breakfast every 1st Tuesday of each month
Men’s Breakfast is held on the 1st Tuesday of each month at at 8:00am.
Meet at Black Sugar Cafe located inside the Telstra Building lobby, opposite the Apple Store, at 400 George St Sydney. Simply come over and say hello to join.
The Healing Ministry places a strong emphasis on prayer.
